Interactive Puppet Show
These 30-minute interactive puppet shows about animals on Old MacDonald’s Farm introduce age-appropriate mental health and neurodiversity concepts.
Old MacDonald Had A Farm
And on his farm he had some animals that had traits of anxiety, ADHD, and autism.
Developed in consultation with early childhood mental health professionals, these show walk audiences through mental wellness strategies and honestly and sensitively show strengths and challenges in a neurodiversity affirming way.

Logistics
Performances are 30-minutes long. Classes will be given a puppet making activity that students can do afterwards.
Due to the interactive nature of the performance, the ideal audience size is no more than 60 students.
Discounts are available for scheduling multiple (up to five) performances in one day.
The performance works best in a smaller setting like multi-purpose rooms, library meeting rooms or storytime spaces, or empty classrooms. Cafeterias, gymnasiums, and large theatres are less ideal.

Fluff the Duckling has a lot of intense worries and fears about going in the pond. Mama Duck patiently helps Fluff understand that the scary jumping fish and pond weed are actually something to be excited about.

The flock’s BAAA-ing really hurts Curly’s ears. When she runs away, Old MacDonald introduces her to an autistic Rooster and autistic Donkey who show her it’s OK to advocate for what you need.

A story about ADHD
Sparky is really excited for the first day of Sheepherding School. When the typical ways of learning and herding don’t work for him, Coach Alice and Sparky collaborate to find new ways of herding play to his strengths.
