Maria Asp is the Interim Executive Director and founding member of Speaking Out Collective (SOC). With over 20 years of experience as an educator, performer & community organizer, she has taught workshops & residencies for students PreK - university.
Morgan Henderson
Morgan Henderson is an event marketing professional with a background in experiential marketing, community engagement, and creating meaningful experiences that bring people together. She believes theater and education play an important role in developing confident communicators, empathetic leaders, and stronger communities.
Reagan Henderson
Raegan Henderson is a human resources executive, published author, and nonprofit leader with extensive experience building inclusive organizations, strengthening workplace culture, and advancing employee engagement. She currently serves as Director of Culture, Engagement & Wellness at Dorsey & Whitney LLP, an international Am Law 100 firm, where she leads strategic initiatives focused on organizational culture, employee experience, and workplace well-being.
Laura Mann Hill
Laura Mann Hill is an arts organizer, administrator, theatre artist and educator. She taught English and directed theatre in New York City public schools before returning home to the Twin Cities. A founding member of Speaking Out Collective, Laura earned her Bachelor's Degree in English from Hamline University and her Master's Degree in Teaching from Pace University.
Jack Zipes
Jack Zipes is a retired professor of German and Comparative Literature at the University of Minnesota. During his active years he founded a storytelling program called Neighborhood Bridges which is connected to Speaking Out. He continues to have a strong interest in Speaking Out.
Shynell Hill
Shynell Hill, Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology. Full time financial auditor. I love to learn, travel, and be inspired by the beauty of life. I look forward to serving my community in any way I can.
